The Challenge Competition
In January 2004, the third round of the Challenge Competition closed.   Submissions were made to the CSU via Community Safety Partnerships (or Interim Bodies) from throughout Northern Ireland.  There were 135 applications of which 24 were awarded funding to a value of £1.35 million.  This is in addition to the £2.6 million that has already been commited, bringing the total funding to £3.95 million over the three years to 2006/2007.
